The species Sideritis Raeseri & Sideritis Scardica is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows naturally in the Prespa Mountains and in neighboring mountains. The decoction of mountain tea is much preferred by the Greeks, especially in the winter months, due to its beneficial effect on colds and inflammations of the upper respiratory system, properties that are enhanced by the addition of honey.
